Effect of the Earthquake in Japan on the United States' Economy

View the following videos and state your response on how you believe this crisis should be handled and how much of an impact it will make on the United States' economy.

Example answer: This crisis should be handled with the aid of other countries' economies. I believe that other countries' economies should increase their prices for a while to use the extra money to aid the economy in Japan. Tarifs should be abolished and trading should increase for that amount of time with Japan. Although Demand will decrease from the increase in price, and it is not in the equilibrium, it should be this way in the short run. Then in the long run, once Japan's economy is back to normal, the equilibrium can go back as well.
